Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy focuses on treatment that restore movement of muscles in order to improve function without the use of medications or invasive procedures. Physiotherapy is extremely beneficial for those preparing or recovering from surgery and also offers relief from other musculoskeletal conditions.
At One Elephant, our Physiotherapist, will incorporate exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy, and modalities in their comprehensive treatment plan.
Physiotherapists have a minimum of 6 years of postsecondary education, including training at an accredited school and obtaining a university undergraduate degree. The Master of Physical Therapy program has an intensive two-year curriculum of academic and clinic education. Successful completion of board certification examinations is required for complete licensing. Physiotherapists are registered with the College Of Physiotherapists Of Ontario.
