Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza
Written by: Alanna Bray-Lougheed & Christabel Menezes

In honour of National Cheese Lover’s Day, we’re spreading the love with a spin on our beloved food. With vegetarian and vegan diets on the rise, we thought we’d share one of our favourite vegan pizza recipes.
Vegan cheese is a great base to use in many different recipes, including: pizza, lasagna, nachos, or even as a spreadable on crackers and sandwiches. Herbs and spices can be added to create different flavours each time! Vegan cheeses are lower in protein, and can be higher in unsaturated fats if made with a nut base; so it is important to ensure you are adding protein alternatives to your meal. For example, adding hemp seeds or pureed lentils to your tomato sauce can boost the protein content of your meal.
